Whole Foods Chocolate Oatmilk Review

Anyone else crave chocolate milk occasionally? Or all of the time which seems to be me recently! 😂  I’ve been looking for a good chocolate alternative milk. Previously, I had said the Almond Breeze chocolate almondmilk was pretty good. However, I’ve wanted a thicker, creamier version. Oat milk has definitely gained popularity including places like Starbucks now offering it. I had actually tried a brand of oat milk before I started this blog. I don’t recall what the brand was, but I got very sick from it. It was so awful! That’s probably why I haven’t tried it again until now. Of course I had hoped it was just the brand I had a problem with.

I only took two sips of the Whole Foods Chocolate Oatmilk. That’s apparently all it took. I again felt so sick! Thankfully not as sick as I recall being from that previous brand, but I’m also pretty sure I had a lot more of that one than this one. It’s really upsetting to me that I have an issue with oat milk since I don’t have a problem with oats or really any of the other ingredients in oat milk. So, sorry you all will have to try out oat milks for yourselves! There are many people that drink it, love it, and have zero problems with it which is great! I will add though that my husband said he would drink it so it didn’t go to waste, but he really doesn’t like it at all.

Nutrition Facts

The fat is pretty low but of course it’s a chocolate milk, so it is a little higher in sugar. The best part about this oat milk is that it has a decent amount of vitamin B12, calcium, and vitamin D! These are all things Vegans especially but also Vegetarians tend to be low in, so this is a great benefit.

As the name indicates, this oat milk is from Whole Foods.

Don’t let my experience with oat milk steer you away from trying it out! If you do decide to try out any brands, let me know your thoughts!
