So Delicious Dark Chocolate Truffle Cashewmilk Review

Happy Friday! Who’s ready for more spring weather?!

With the spring-like weather, I had a craving for a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich. Since I have a hard time with regular ice cream, I figured I could make my own with chocolate chip cookies and non-dairy ice cream. My husband made a quick stop at Stauffers and found these amazing cookies. He also said they had a huge selection of non-dairy ice cream! I haven’t tried cashewmilk yet, but when he said dark chocolate truffle, I was on board. 😂  I actually really don’t care for cashews, so I figured I wouldn’t care for cashewmilk or cashewmilk ice cream before. Now, I’ll definitely have to try out cashewmilk. The ice cream was so good and chocolatey. 😋  I don’t believe it tasted like cashews at all. My only complaint would be I would’ve liked some more chocolate pieces.

Comparing the So Delicious coconutmilk ice cream to the cashewmilk ice cream, I would probably say I still slightly prefer the coconutmilk ice cream. Even though you get more of a coconut taste, it just seems to overall be creamier.

Nutrition Facts

As expected with ice cream, it is high in fat and sugar. However, there is zero cholesterol! There is also a little bit of dietary fiber and protein. Since it is dairy free ice cream, it’s vegan and gluten free!

As I said, my husband bought the So Delicious Dark Chocolate Truffle cashewmilk ice cream from our local Stauffers. Giant also carries the So Delicious brand though.
