Silk Milk Review

Previously, I had written a post about Almond Breeze Almond milk. In this post, I’ll tell you why I prefer that brand to Silk milk.

Silk may be a great alternative to cow’s milk for some people. For me, it unfortunately makes me sick. My stomach gets extremely upset even after just a few sips. I believe it’s still a very popular brand since many restaurants and coffee shops carry it as an alternative. I obviously have tried it several times but always end up with the same results no matter what kind I try.

I will say that Silk does have a creamier taste which I would definitely prefer. The brand also has many options. There is the Original Silk soy milk, almond milk, almond coconut milk, and chocolate almond milk. The calcium and Vitamin percentages aren’t quite as high as Almond Breeze, however, the sodium is slightly lower.

I have looked over the ingredients and none stand out as being something I would have an issue with. If I didn’t have such a terrible reaction to it, I would probably actually use it. My suggestion is to definitely try this brand for yourself!

If you decide to try Silk milk, let me know what you think of it! Is there another milk alternative you’ve been curious about? Let me know and I’ll give you a review!
