Orgain Organic Protein Almondmilk Review
Have you all heard of Orgain Organic Protein Almondmilk? I haven’t until I was determined to find an alternative milk that had protein. I was aware with the previous alternative milks I’ve reviewed that they don’t have much protein (if any) or calcium. It’s extremely disappointing to see this since so many products now are adding in protein and calcium, and you expect it in a milk even an alternative milk. We even buy orange juice that has calcium and Vitamin D added. After searching the organic aisle and cold alternative milk sections at my local Giant without any luck, I decided to try Whole Foods. I figured they had to have something! And they did. I found this Orgain Organic Protein Almondmilk and was so excited to try it out! When I first poured it into my cereal, it looked off white, more like a greyish white. I couldn’t help but make a face. 😂 I did get the unsweetened vanilla and thought it was just okay if you drank it by itself. I definitely would prefer the taste of say the AlmondBreeze Almondmilk. Once I ate it mixed with the cereal, it was better. Now, I’ve had it several times and don’t mind the taste at all! Mostly I’m just happy to actually be getting more protein and calcium.
Nutrition Facts

Stores
As I said, I bought this almondmilk at Whole Foods. It was a little more expensive than the other almondmilks I’ve tried, but honestly worth it to know I’m getting more of the nutrients I need.
If you want an almondmilk that actually has protein and calcium along with other nutrients, try out the Orgain Organic Protein Almondmilk! I definitely plan on continuing to drink this alternative milk!
