Goodie Girl Mint Cookies Review

I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend last weekend! We went to my mom’s house and of course did an adult egg hunt! It was so much fun! (For anyone wondering we did wear masks and kept it very small). Now onto this week’s post!

If I haven’t said already, I love mint and chocolate together! Pretty much any sort of dessert with these two is a winner in my book. 😂 So of course Girl Scout thin mint cookies are one of my favorite cookies. Anybody else team thin mint? I do love the samoas too though. We haven’t bought them in such a long time, mostly because I’m not really around anyone that sells them now.

Anyway, Goodie Girl had popped up on my Instagram as a page I may like. I had heard of the Company before, and when I saw they had mint cookies, I was on board and needed to find them. Little did I know they were in the gluten free, organic section at my local Giant! I have shopped other gluten free items there, so I’m not sure how I missed them. Now, even though they don’t have as much “junk” in them (as the owner has said), I still have been trying to watch how many sweets I have. I do want to eat mostly healthy for myself and my baby! I’m saying this though because I wanted to savor them, you know, make them last a little longer. My husband had other ideas. 😂 He spotted them right away and dove in. I only got two cookies! He ate the rest! I guess that gives me an excuse to get more though. So obviously they are super delicious. I love that the mint flavor isn’t over powering. You get that nice combination of mint and chocolate with a crunch. 😋

Nutrition Facts

The serving size is four cookies which puts you at 160 calories. Not too bad actually! There is fat because these are chocolate cookies after all. However, there’s no cholesterol and the list of ingredients makes sense for what you would think would be in a cookie. No extras or artificial flavoring! They are also gluten free and peanut free.

The Company

The owner, Shira, has a cute little message about how she started the company. Some of their profits also go towards Leap which they say helps kids have classes in the arts to help with their creativity. Don’t we all like to support companies that actually help others?

Stores

I found these cookies in the gluten free, organic section at Giant.

If you love cookies (who doesn’t?) and are a fan of mint and chocolate, you seriously need to get these! I’m excited to try the other flavors out since they have so many different types of cookies!
