Viana Cowgirl Veggie Steaks Review

This week’s post is about the Viana Cowgirl Veggie Steaks. I’ll start out by saying I was never a big fan of steaks when I did eat meat. These veggie steaks didn’t appeal to me for having a similar look to steaks. They were another product that I happened to find and thought I would give them a try! The look honestly kind of grossed me out. They just look so odd! 😂 Once they were cooked though, I was ready to give them a chance. I was pretty surprised that I didn’t mind these veggie steaks. I was worried that they would be terrible. I still couldn’t eat the whole thing because the texture was off and it was too much of the same flavor. My husband ate his and the rest of mine with some A1 sauce and liked them though!

Nutrition Facts

There is a decent amount of fat and sodium in these veggie steaks but not as much as real meat steaks. The dietary fiber and protein are high which is great! I will point out that they are made with wheat and soy protein.

Cooking

These veggie steaks were very easy to cook. There are multiple ways to make them, but I chose to cook them in the oven. Like the directions say, they did only take about 10 minutes in the oven. The color and look didn’t change all that much from when they were frozen to cooked though.

Stores

Stauffers has a vegetarian/vegan section by the produce which is where I found these veggie steaks.

If you’re looking for something different and don’t mind the look, give these Viana Cowgirl Veggie Steaks a try. My overall opinion of them was they were just okay. I honestly probably wouldn’t buy them again though.
