Raised & Rooted Nuggets Review

Back when I ate meat and my husband and I were having a busy day, we would just decide on a quick meal of chicken nuggets and mac and cheese. Sure, that wasn’t the healthiest meal option, but it was easiest! Nuggets are just a nice food to have on hand when you need a snack or a quick meal. I previously posted a review on the Quorn nuggets and the Gardein tenders, but I’m always looking for other options. I actually just stumbled upon the Raised & Rooted nuggets so I figured I’d give them a try! As with a few products I have reviewed before, these nuggets taste like a yummy, cheap nugget 😂 They’re a little bland, but some ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch give them some more flavor!

Nutrition Facts

The Raised & Rooted nuggets have less fat, more fiber, and of course protein! The main ingredients are pea protein and fibers. Minus soybean oil, there is no other soy ingredient! Despite having a high sensitivity to egg whites, I’m pretty fine with having about four of these at a time. For this reason though, they are vegetarian and just be aware of the dairy products in them.

Cooking

As with many foods, these nuggets taste the best when cooked in the oven. They get crispier. 😋 The instructions are super easy. Simply put them in the oven and cook them for about 10 minutes.

Stores

I made an extra stop to our local grocery outlet and found these nuggets there. Giant is now carrying them, and I have seen them at Target.

If you want another better option for a chicken nugget alternative, why not give these Raised & Rooted nuggets a try? Let me know what you think of them!
