Lesser Evil Popcorn Review
Who loves snacking?! I am a big time snacker. Sure I make meals especially for dinner, but if I could live off of snacking I would. 😂 My go-to snack is always popcorn. I actually worked at a movie theater for about 8 years through high school and college. You would think I would’ve been tired of the sight and smell of popcorn since I was around it all the time. But nope. I was always snacking on it and back in those days we came up with different yummy combinations! White cheddar popcorn is by far my favorite type. So course I had to find a brand that let me not feel guilty about my snacking habits as well as had a vegan kind! Lesser Evil popcorn is super delicious! They have several different kinds, all of which are amazing, but I’ll give you more information on the “no cheese” cheesy kind. You actually can’t really tell there’s flavoring on it because it’s not heavily coated. The Company found the perfect balance of flavoring. When I first had a few pieces I thought it seemed a little weird. There’s definitely a tang to it, but I’m finding that with a lot of vegan cheese foods. As I ate more, I became addicted. Whole Foods just had a sale on the Lesser Evil popcorn, so I snagged a couple bags! I’m hooked!
Nutrition Facts
There is less fat than real cheese popcorn, it has more fiber, only some carbs, and it even has a little protein! It’s also made with organic ingredients. There is coconut oil so just be aware of that if you have an allergy. Also, of course they have to put a disclaimer that even though this is vegan popcorn, it still is made in a facility that handles egg and dairy ingredients. I am pretty sensitive to contamination but don’t have an issue with many of the Companies that put this disclaimer on their food products. It’s just another thing to be aware of.
Stores
Whole Foods is the main store I have found this brand. They usually have a sale on it too if you have an Amazon prime membership.
Make sure to snag a bag (or two) of the Lesser Evil popcorn! It’s addicting, low in fat, and overall a healthier snacking option!
