Everyone glad it’s Friday? We have some exciting plans this weekend, so I’m definitely looking forward to it!

This Friday’s post is about the Gardein Teriyaki Chick’n Strips. I like to keep a bag of these on-hand because it’s a simple, delicious meal! These strips are easy to cook and the teriyaki sauce is a great balance of salty and sweet. The Company did a great job with the texture and taste of these chick’n strips. It also pairs well with pretty much any side. I’ve made them with mac and cheese, rice, and vegetables. They’re also full of protein!

Nutrition Facts

The calories per container really aren’t very high which is awesome! The sodium and sugar are a little higher mostly because of the teriyaki sauce. There’s no cholesterol, and there’s even some iron though.

Cooking

These chick’n teriyaki strips aren’t hard to make at all! You simply put them in a pan with a little bit of oil and cook for about 7 minutes. I like to get some crispiness on them, so sometimes I cook them a little longer. The instructions do say to put the sauce bag in some warm water. However, I honestly found that the sauce doesn’t stay frozen, so you can just cut it open and pour it right onto the strips. Just stir them around a bit and they’re ready! 😋
